The Port of Palm Beach is requesting qualifications from consulting firms interested in providing
services in the practice of professional architecture, professional engineering, landscape
architecture, and registered surveying and mapping, as defined by the laws of the State of Florida,
on a non-exclusive task/work order basis, under continuing contracts.

 Work of a specified nature (as defined in Florida Statue §287.055(2)(g)), which shall include:

1. The overall SIP inspection objective is to systematically inspect the marine assets owned and operated by the Port of Palm Beach.
2. The selected consultant shall perform the underwater inspection of the Port’s marine assets.
3. The underwater inspection results will be used to assist the Port in identifying and prioritizing repairs, replacements, and refurbishments, Capital Project development, trend analysis, as well as assist in the development of the asset management plan for the Port of Palm Beach.
4. The primary purpose of the Structural Inspection Program is to be proactive in eliminating the need for emergency actions, by identifying critical deficiencies early. The Port’s planner and Port Engineer will use SIP information for Strategic Asset Management and to categorize, budget, and schedule Capital Repairs and Replacements.
5. All Work of a Specified Nature shall comply with all applicable Federal, State and Local regulations, standards and requirements.
