Due to (COVID-19) and Federal, State and Palm Beach County’s Declarations of State of Emergency, the Port of Palm Beach may conduct meetings utilizing communications media technology. The Port will be using the platform GoToMeeting. This will allow the Port District to have Regular Board of Commissioners meetings as necessary, during the COVID- 19 pandemic.
Please note: Governor DeSantis’ Executive Order Number 20-69 suspended the requirement of a quorum to be present in person or requires a local government body to meet at a specific public place. The Executive Order also allows local government bodies to utilize communications media technology, such as telephonic and video conferencing for local government body meetings.
tariff Public hearing Wednesday, july 15, 2020 at 9 am
The Port of Palm Beach will hold a public hearing online via GoToMeeting to discuss proposed rates and revisions/modifications to the District and Freight Tariff (Switching). The title of the revised Tariffs will be “Tariff No. 23” and "Freight Tariff 8016". The District has the authority to adopt these proposed Tariff rates and revisions/modifications pursuant to its Charter. The purpose of the revisions/modifications is to update the Port’s Tariff to reflect an average increase of 1.5% (rounded to the nearest penny) across the board and to add an item related to Pandemics and Other Health-Related Matters. These proposed tariff revisions/modifications will apply to all Port Tenants and Users of the District, and are expected to result in approximately $96,000 in additional funds for the District. The District does not anticipate any costs associated with the implementation or enforcement of the proposed Tariff revisions. All affected persons shall have the right to make an oral statement, present evidence and give other information at the hearing. The hearing is open to the public.

Board OF COMMISSIONERS Meeting THURSDAY, JULY 16, 2020 AT 5 PM
In response to COVID-19, the Port of Palm Beach District Board of Commissioners and port staff will be meeting virtually using GoToMeeting.
The public is welcome to attend the virtual meeting in-person at our Board Conference room on the 6th floor of the Maritime Office Complex at One East 11th Street, Riviera Beach, FL. at 5 PM.
The necessary electronic equipment and camera will be at the podium in the board room so members of the public can watch and participate during the session. Please make sure to wear a face covering and practice social distancing while on port property.
