The Port of Palm Beach is making waves with exciting new improvements designed to enhance the cruising experience for passengers. Whether you're embarking on a getaway or returning home, these upgrades promise to make your journey smoother and more convenient.
A key addition is the introduction of self-parking, allowing cruise passengers to easily park and catch their sailings on time. The Port also offers limited valet parking, available on a first-come, first-served basis, for those who prefer a quicker solution. Palm Beach Parking attendants are on hand to assist with parking and payment, ensuring a hassle-free arrival. We accept all major credit cards and Apple Pay. We do not accept cash.
Safety remains a top priority at the Port. To facilitate smoother access between vehicles and the Margaritaville at Sea Paradise cruise ship, a temporary pedestrian walkway has been set up. This walkway, designed for ease and security, will eventually be replaced by a permanent structure featuring an overhead canopy for added comfort and protection.
For passengers using ride-share services, the Port has designated a specific area just across from the cruise terminal, making it even easier to catch a ride to and from the port.
In a significant step forward, United States Customs and Border Protection, Margaritaville at Sea and the Port have introduced facial recognition technology for U.S. Passport holders during debarkation. This new technology is expected to streamline the customs process, significantly reducing wait times for eligible passengers. Passengers traveling with birth certificates or other forms of identification will continue to go through the usual officer screening.
With these improvements, the Port of Palm Beach is committed to ensuring that each passenger's cruise experience is more efficient, secure, and enjoyable than ever before.
