[ARCHIVED] Protecting Florida's Manatees

Port facility workers install caution manatee area signs

Have you seen the new "Caution Manatee Area" signs posted near the Port of Palm Beach where we sometimes spot manatees?  

The Port of Palm Beach partnered with Friends of Manatee Lagoon to add the caution signs on both the north and south ends of the Port's waterway. 

The nonprofit purchased the signs and Port Facility Workers Barry Cato, Ecklund Fredericks and David Pierce installed the signs near Berth 1 and Berth 17.
