Florida Sugar and Molasses Exchange's new sugar barge named "Knot Refined" made it's first trip to the Port of Palm Beach on May 4, 2022.
The bulk barge was built in North Kingstown, Rhode Island.
It holds approximately 18,000 short tons of raw sugar.
Wondering who came up with the clever name?
Employees within FSME & Sugar Cane Growers Cooperative of Florida submitted names for the barge and "Knot Refined" was the winner.
