Students with KOP Mentoring Network spent a fun-filled day at Port of Palm Beach.
The students met our Board Chairman Joseph Anderson, our Executive Director Manuel Almira, Director of Planning and Development Carl Baker and our Public Information Officer Yaremi Farinas.

Representatives with Tropical Shipping came out to talk to the kids about the broad range of career opportunities with the company, how to land a job with Tropical and why it’s a great place to work.
In addition to the Port tour and lunch, Chairman Anderson awarded the non-profit a $350 grant.
"It was an honor and privilege to host Camp Quest 2021 KOP (Summer Camp) at the Port of Palm Beach," Chairman Anderson said.
The children were given a challenge to write an essay and orally present their experience on the Port tour by next week in order to win Chairman Anderson’s Personal Prize Money of $100-1st Place-Seniors/College Category; $50-1st Place-Middle School Category and $25-1st Place-Elementary Category.
"Thank you so much to Port Staff and Tropical Shipping for enlightening our youth about the economic benefits and opportunities offered by the Port of Palm Beach," Chairman Anderson said.
