Todd Scaife is the newest rail and facilities employee at the Port of Palm Beach. As a switchman he assists in switching rail cars from the Florida East Coast rail site onto the Port of Palm Beach. Scaife is also responsible for the maintenance of port property. Prior to being hired by the port, he worked for Tropical Shipping, the port’s largest tenant. During his four year tenure at Tropical Shipping, he was responsible for dispatching local and national pickups. While he values the time he spent at Tropical Shipping, Scaife says he switched careers because he always had an interest in trains. He believes the sky's the limit and looks forward to a successful and bright future at the port. When Scaife is not working, he spends his time with his family and enjoys outdoor cycling.
