The Port of Palm Beach welcomed Congressman Jimmy Patronis for an executive tour led by Port Executive Director Michael Meekins. Congressman Patronis serves on the U.S. House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, making the visit an important opportunity to highlight the Port of Palm Beach's role in supporting our county and region.
During the tour, Meekins showcased the Port’s critical operations including cargo movement, tenant services, and our new Port Infrastructure Development Program project, which was partially funded by the federal government.
Meekins also shared several future-focused infrastructure and operational improvement projects aimed at enhancing efficiency, safety, and competitiveness.
Port Commissioners Blair Ciklin and Dr. Deandre Poole were present to welcome the Congressman, with Chair Ciklin joining the operational tour.
