Dr. Jean Landfair Enright was first elected to the Port of Palm Beach District Board of Commissioners in November 2004 and was re-elected unopposed in 2008 and 2012. Presently, Commissioner Enright is the only female member of the five-member governing board of the Port of Palm Beach District. She brings professionalism, honesty, integrity and transparency to the Board.

Dr. Enright has always put the people of the Port District first which is evident by her community involvement and passion for those she serves. She has worked tirelessly for many years with community and political organizations and sponsored civic organizations for children. For ten years she was a Girl Scout Troop Leader for Brownie, Junior and Senior Girl Scouts; Served on the Board of Directors of Palm Glades Girl Scout Council for five years; Miss USA Pageant Official Preliminary Judge for Florida; Continental Societies Ins. past President and member; Sponsor of Operation Hope; Palm Beach County Caucus of Black Elected Officials member; Business Development Board of Palm Beach County member; Forum Club of Palm Beach County member; Navy League member; Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO); Voters’ Coalition member; St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church member; and Tuskegee University Palm Beach County Alumni Association Founder and Past President.

Commissioner Enright received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama; a Master of Science Degree from Howard University in Washington D.C.; and a Doctorate Degree from The Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. She is the widow of the late Dr. William F. Enright Jr. and mother of two daughters.
