Port of Palm Beach Waives Cargo Charges for Hurricane Relief Efforts

On Thursday, October 20, 2016, the Port of Palm Beach Board of Commissioners agreed to waive all cargo fees for Caribbean humanitarian relief supply shipments for six months. This decision was made at the port’s Board of Commissioner meeting, and is in response to the devastating effects Hurricane Matthew had on Haiti and the Bahamas.

Port of Palm Beach Breaks Ground on Mini-Slip Construction

On Thursday, July 21, 2016, the Port of Palm Beach Board of Commissioners and staff broke ground on the port’s latest infrastructure enhancement project, the construction of a mini-slip at its southernmost berth. The project will add/replace 376 feet of seawall and accommodate vessels up to 300 feet in length.
